Are we Sinless in Sanctification?

Is sanctification right after salvation obtainable like Wesley taught? Where now one becomes sinless? Bible verses please

I suggest Romans 7 & 8: Our righteous standing before God is always the righteousness of Jesus and nothing in ourselves!

30 years AFTER being saved, Paul wrote, ” those things I want to do, I don’t. The things I don’t want to do, I do. Even when I do good evil is present within me. O wretched man that I am”… no.

The Apostle John wrote:

8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. – 1 John 1:8-9

Notice that he did not add, “except for all of you who don’t sin anymore”

Sanctification does not make you sinless, sanctification is “The transforming process by which God’s people shed their past sinfulness & grow to reflect His holiness.”

& beyond that Draymon, we should make the distinction between sin & willful patterns of sin. Its important to examine ourselves carefully because your works are proof of your salvation.

We may sin but we have a dominion over sin… Isolated actions of sin is normal in the life of a christian & no one should be questioning their salvation on that basis.
