In 2 Peter 3:9 we are told that God wishes something, in specific, that NONE should perish.
But in Matt 7: 13 & 14 we are told by Jesus (God in the flesh) that FEW will be saved and MANY will perish.
How is this not an argument that God isn’t able to get what he wants from his creation?
As a Christian, how am I supposed to view this in terms of God as an omniscient, omnipresent & omnipotent Creator, who, with full foreknowledge, creates failure wherein a MAJORITY of his beloved aren’t powerfully enough affected by the Holy Spirit that they won’t awaken to God’s free gift of eternal life?
- Hi. All this problems is about 2 person that have failed. When you read Genesis, you can see that God said everything is good. We have been already in the plan of God to exists. God didn’t maked us a robot,no He makes us to comonicate with him and talk with him. Because of disobedient to God words enter sin in the world. Now we known what is evil and good. We have to choose for dead or life. There’s only two ways, and we are automatically in the huge way, because of our sin. Choose the small on. Keep asking questions your bible has the answers.
